About the Teacher

     Dr. Ed Golden is a native of Warwick, RI, and a career long educator with more than 24 years experience in education. 

   He has a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Virginia, masters degrees in philosophy and theology, and a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Providence College.  

    Dr. Golden has been an Assistant Dean of Students at the University of Virginia, the Dean of Students at Bryant University, and the Vice President for Student Affairs at Syracuse University.

    Before joining the WJCC Public Schools in 2005,  Dr. Golden taught Latin I, II, III & IV at Walsingham Academy, here in Williamsburg, VA.

     Dr. Golden sometimes teaches Ethics, and Western Cultures at Thomas Nelson Community College.
